Exciting opportunity for a dynamic medical oncologist to provide clinical services across regional SA. This role will provide outpatients services into a number of units across the region, both face-to-face and via telehealth. Very interested in hearing from consultants wanting to join our very experienced medical team.
- Support the delivery of high quality oncology services, supported by an experienced and dedicated local team.
- Work as part of a large broader regional oncology service consisting of 7 oncologists, an experienced clinical leader and a range of other disciplines available to provide support and expertise.
- Contribute to both local and regional quality initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Participate in regional and metropolitan MDT's and other clinical forums.
- Some limited telemedicine available by negotiation.

As part of your new role, you will provide effective teaching programs across relevant hospitals, ensuring the provision of high standard clinical services to patients through the teaching/training of undergraduates and postgraduates in a range of disciplines. You will play a key role in ensuring that regional cancer services integrate with metropolitan cancer services in order to provide seamless and safe care for regional consumers of cancer services.

Demonstrating a high level of clinical skills in oncology, you will bring the professional expertise to practice as a competent and compassionate consultant. Past experience teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels will hold you in good stead for this role, along with your ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Specialist recognition with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and registerable with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner holding specialist registration.
- Demonstrated participation in continuing professional development since attaining Fellowship.

COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
