Team Leader, Headspace Early Psychosis

headspace Early Psychosis provide comprehensive early intervention services to young people aged 12 to 25 years experiencing an early episode of psychosis or at risk of developing psychosis. Our committed and compassionate multi-disciplinary team have a rich history of working with young people, their family / carers to help achieve their recovery goals.
**Your Opportunity**
In this role, you will lead the Continuing Care and Functional Recovery Teams within the headspace Early Psychosis service. You’ll provide clinical and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team of up to 11 clinicians and specialist workers, ensuring high-quality care for young people. Working closely with the consultant psychiatrist, you’ll oversee clinical governance and support the implementation of the Early Psychosis model in line with Orygen standards.
You’ll collaborate with the leadership team and the Meadowbrook Early Psychosis Hub to ensure timely, coordinated care.
**About the Teams**
The **Continuing Care Team**delivers case management and care coordination for young people with complex needs. The **Functional Recovery Team**runs group programs, including adventure therapy, and provides individual recovery-focused support. You’ll also lead specialist services including peer support, family work, and vocational/education coordination, all within a strong multidisciplinary framework.
This is a full time, ongoing position based out of our headspace Southport office. The remuneration for this position will be commensurate with the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience and will range between gross $106,379 and $111,094?per annum plus superannuation and salary packaging benefits.?

**You Will Bring**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Highly developed leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, support, and guide a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic and evolving clinical environment
- Demonstrated ability to engage with young people, their families and/ or significant others, with a strong understanding of the developmental, psychological, social, and cultural factors that influence young people and the challenges they face.
- Demonstrated experience in evidence-based clinical practice
- Strong reporting skills, including experience preparing reports for external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills demonstrated through the effective facilitation of clinical and operational meetings, creating a collaborative environment that supports informed decision-making, accountability, and team cohesion.
- Commitment to clinical governance, supervision, and quality improvement
- Ability to build a positive, supportive, high-performing team culture
- Excellent time management and delegation skillsCurrent Australian Driver’s License and QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
