**Introduction**:
THS is a unique educational organisation partnered between education (Southern Cross University) and industry (Mulpha Education Group). We currently deliver undergraduate and postgraduate business degrees specialising within tourism, hospitality, events and hotel management.

Our campuses are in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Hayman Island.

**Description**:
The Course Advisor supports the growth of THS domestic student enrolment.

This position is part of a dynamic team that delivers quality educational options to enthusiastic students who are eager to develop their hospitality careers.

This position requires a well-developed communication, negotiation and sales skills sets.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
Drive the recruitment of new domestic students
Achieve or exceed on organisation’s enrolment and conversion targets
Contribute to sales strategies to ensure long term growth
Keep up-to-date sales activities and transaction records in the divisional CRM system
Participate in on-campus events including industry events, open days, workshops
In collaboration with the National School Channel Manager - develop relationships with Career’s Advisors in key schools and school clusters for recruitment of students
Develop reporting and market feedback to the wider Marketing and Sales Team

**Skills and Experiences**:
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications, skills, abilities and experience:
Strong experience in sales and customer engagement - 3 years+
Experience in the domestic education market preferable in higher education
Demonstrated ability to achieve set organisational targets
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
A keen negotiator with high emotional intelligence
Positive attitude with the ability to motivate others
Advanced Word, Excel and Outlook proficiency
Highly developed CRM experience
Professional and friendly phone manner and an engaging personal presentation style
Proven ability to multitask and prioritise work to deliver to deadlines
Readiness to learn new processes, skills and technologies with an open mind and eagerness for personal growth and to expand professional skill set
Experience demonstrating accountability in performance

**Desirable attributes include**:
Interest in the hospitality, tourism and hotel industry
Experience with hospitality education sector
Experience in sales targeted to market and parents
