**About the role**:
We are seeking an experienced and outcomes-driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of a system replacement initiative for our Life Insurance division.
This pivotal role within our Business Change and Operations team will be a driving force behind planning, coordination, and execution—ensuring alignment with strategic goals, managing technical dependencies, and delivering results on time and within budget.
This role is ideal for a structured, collaborative Project Manager who thrives in complexity and can bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the planning and initiation of business change initiatives, defining scope, objectives, and success metrics
- Develop and manage detailed delivery plans, including timelines, dependencies, and resource needs
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and clear communication
- Track progress, manage risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
- Facilitate governance forums and stakeholder check-ins to maintain alignment and momentum
- Champion a solutions-focused mindset to overcome challenges and drive results
- Conduct post-initiative reviews to capture insights and improve future delivery
- Represent the Medical Indemnity business in broader organisational programs and BAU forums
- Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and process optimisation

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience in leading complex projects and change initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity
- Passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or regulated industries preferred
- Familiarity with change management and delivery frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies)
