Marvellous Full-Time Nanny/Home Manager in Ashgrove, 4060

Start Date: 10th March 2025 (ASAP)

Position Details

Full-time, permanent role
$35-40 per hour + superannuation and leave entitlements.

Days & Hours:
Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (one early finish per week possible if required by nanny)

45-50 hours per week

About the Family:
This family consists of a professional couple, their energetic and curious 3-year-old daughter, and two cats. Both parents work full-time, and try to work-from-home at least 1-2 days a week.. The family has previously employed nannies

What We’re Looking For
- Experienced in caring for toddlers and passionate about early childhood development. Knowledgeable about or open to learning the Montessori approach.
- Engaging, proactive, and confident in planning activities that support learning, socialisation, and outdoor exploration.
- Organised and able to assist with household tasks when time permits.
- Medically fit and transparent about health conditions to ensure safety in the role.
- Seeking a long-term position (minimum 2 years).

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Sole care of the child, ensuring a safe, engaging, and structured environment.
- Planning and leading age-appropriate activities, both at home and in the community.
- Preparing simple meals for the family.
- Encouraging toilet training and supporting daily routines.
- Transporting the child to social outings, activities, and future kindergarten drop-offs/pick-ups as required.

The family employs a cleaner, but the nanny will assist with:

- Assisting with occasional laundry and general household tidying.
- Keeping play areas and common spaces organised.
- Occasional vacuuming, mopping, and emptying of cat litter.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent Australian Residency.
- Valid Working With Children Check, First Aid, and CPR.
- Fully vaccinated (Covid-19, Whooping Cough, Flu, etc.).
- Driver’s licence and own car (family vehicle will be provided for work use).
- At least two outstanding references.
- No smoking or vaping.
