**full-time, permanent basis. **With support and encouragement from your leader, you’ll lead marketing and communication strategies across our Icon Cancer Centre division in Australia & New Zealand.

Joining our wider Brand and Communication team, this is a newly created role for a
**Marketing Lead** on a
**permanent full-time** basis based in
**South Brisbane **(right next to Southbank). This is an exciting time to contribute to a private healthcare organisation that has grown exponentially in the past few years and has amazing plans to expand further In this role, you’ll lead a small team of three to deliver local area growth, community and referrer engagement, while ensuring alignment to the wider Icon marketing strategy.

**Key parts of the job**
- Lead the development and execution of a local area marketing and communication program across 40 centres nationwide to drive community engagement, partnerships and growth
- Lead the development and execution of referrer marketing and communication plans for new centres and markets
- Monitor the success of local area marketing plans, including effective monthly/quarterly reporting in line with ROI metrics
- Develop, manage, and monitor communications, corporate collateral, campaign material and patient information
- Provide insight and direction on new marketing initiatives that align with business results
- Provide insight and direction on key stakeholder and customer needs to ensure engagement and alignment of messaging
- Conduct copywriting, editing and proofreading; deliver written material at a high level for a diverse stakeholder group from various demographics, cultures, and levels of education
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholder groups such as Cancer Centre leadership team, business development, state and site management to support a strong communications program
- Support a sustainable workflow across Brand and Communications by demonstrating a high-level understanding of wider Group objectives to manage team resources across multiple priorities and projects

**To be successful in this role, you'll need**:

- Tertiary qualification in marketing, public relations or related field
- Minimum 7 years marketing/communications experience
- Experience in healthcare marketing, including knowledge of health industry and strategic levers
- Experience effectively managing a marketing team to drive business outcomes
- Experience effectively mentoring junior team members to develop and reach their full potential
- Possess exceptional copy writing skills, with the ability to write for multiple stakeholders
- Ability to communicate and maintain co-operative working relationships with at all levels of management in different areas of the organisation
