PRIMARY DETAIL- Permanent Part-time role opportunity for an experienced administrator within Acute Care Ward team of Macquarie University Hospital, as part of MQ Health. This role is 3 days a week, with hours from 7am to 3pm. ASAP Start.- Competitive base salary of $65,548 (pro-rata equivalent) for Ward Clerks (Administration Officer - Level 4) as per the Enterprise Agreement- Salary sacrifices options and salary packaging benefits with Maxxia (including venue hire, meals, entertainment and novated leasing) so you have great potential to maximise your take home pay. We are currently seeking a motivated, efficient, and pro-active Ward Clerk to join our newly established Orthopaedic Institute in Macquarie University Hospital. The role will have you undertake a variety of tasks including administering registration, bookings, admission and discharge processes for the ward. Clear and effective communication with patients, clinicians and colleagues will be key for a smooth-running ward. About You Reporting to Nurse Unit Manager (Acute Care), you will provide a high standard of customer service whilst assisting clinical staff in performing administrative duties with quality care and patient satisfaction (including reception duties, registration and bookings, admissions and discharges, clerical support and data entry) within the clinical department. The successful incumbent will possess good communication and interpersonal relationship skills, ability to work effectively with various teams, and a dedication to quality and continuous improvement of internal workflow and processes.
