As a valued member of our Marketing team, the
**Marketing Content Specialist - B2B** is responsible for the delivery of Shell Energy’s B2B content strategy and execution, as part of the overall business marketing plan.

Based in
**Brisbane**, the role reports to and supports the Senior Marketing Manager -B2B, to deliver the objectives of cost effectively increasing awareness and driving consideration within target segments for the Shell Energy brand and for the Energy B2B Retail and Energy Solutions businesses, while supporting retention through deepening relationships with existing business energy customers. The commercial outcomes of these objectives are the growth of the B2B business and increasing brand awareness.

With respect, integrity and honesty, you will:

- Assist with the development, and responsibility for the implementation of the B2B content marketing program across all channels;
- Work with business stakeholders to provide content support, generation/delivery framework recommendations, delivery plans and implementation for content across digital channels or platforms to support business objectives;
- Coordinate and manage the content calendar including amplification through social media channels, website and other relevant channels (in collaboration with the marketing and comms teams);
- Create engaging content (including, but limited to, long and short form articles, web copy, infographics, video scripts, social media posts, etc.) in accordance with Shell Energy brand communication guides, and in alignment with the agreed marketing strategy;
- End-to-end ownership and delivery of Shell Energy’s regular newsletter to subscribers including planning of topics, writing of articles, image selection and performance reporting;
- Management of the content hub ensuring all content is easily findable (web and internally) with a focus on streamlining production and creative use of existing assets.
- Actively research and suggest recommendations, ideas and strategies based on market trends, industry changes and customer insights;
- Editing of direct to customer, intermediaries and internal comms, including final approvals;
- Measure, track and reporting on content delivery and performance, and future opportunities; and
- Briefing external agencies to develop content, as required.

**What you’ll bring**

Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:

- Experience with B2B content marketing including content design, production management and distribution;
- Copy writing, copy editing and proof-reading experience;
- Basic website update capability (WordPress);
- Understanding and compliance to Marketing Codes of Conduct;
- Understanding and compliance to ‘Do Not’ Registers (DNCR, DNMR and relating);
- Basic desktop design capability preferable (e.g. Powerpoint) desirable;
- Ability to perform under pressure, use judgement, and deliver commercially sound outcomes;
- Highly motivated, resilient, hardworking, with a strong sense of team ownership and producing high-quality work;
- Understanding of the retail energy industry and the C&I market and/or a basic understanding & compliance to Energy Law, Rules & Regulation, desirable.
