**The Role**

Based in our Darwin Office this role provides a service to seriously injured workers to assist them in fostering independence, engaging in meaningful activities to ensure a return to life is achieved and if possible, a return to paid employment.

This is a mobile role where you will be required to undertake visits with the seriously injured workers within their homes and community inclusive but not limited to community, medical and/or home settings. You will be managing a caseload of both physical and psychological injuries.

- Providing guidance and support to assist seriously injured workers in achieving their goals with the focus to increase independence in their lives.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with seriously injured workers and their support networks assisting them with navigating the Northern Territory Return to Work Legislation, systems and clarify roles and responsibilities when required;
- Participating in all aspects of goal development and strategies with injured workers, by working collaboratively with treating health practitioners and allied health providers, to maintain and/or gain independence;
- Identifying seriously injured worker’s needs and assisting in the management of their Activities of Daily Living requirements;
- Identifying, approve and organise products, equipment and services that will assist seriously injured workers to remain independent and access the community; and;
- Participating with Return to Work NT in periodic review of the programs activities and results contributing to improved services and outcomes for employers and their injured workers.

**We’re interested in hearing from people who possess**:

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships
- Provide high levels of customer service and the ability to empathise with injured workers
- Ability to work autonomously with strong attention to detail
- Ability to think strategically
- Experience in Workers Compensation/Claims Management
- Allied Health background or experience within the disability sector will be held in high regard.
- A valid driver’s licence and car are essential to this role
