We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Bookkeeper** to join our finance team. This is a varied and challenging role that offers exposure to a wide range of entities including companies, trusts, and not-for-profit organisations.

Key Responsibilities:_**
As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our diverse business units. Your responsibilities will include:
**Accounts Payable & Receivable**
- Input and process supplier invoices across multiple entities
- Ensure timely approvals and compliance with internal controls
- Set up and schedule payments in line with cash flow requirements
**Journal Entries & General Ledger**
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
**Reconciliations**
- Perform bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly
**Reporting & Compliance**
- Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation for audits
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
**Project Support**
- Assist with ad hoc financial projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, and integration of new entities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on financial matters
**Cross-Entity Coordination**
- Work across multiple business units, including charitable foundations and investment entities
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:_**
- Completion of **VCE** or equivalent
- Minimum **3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience**:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially **Excel** (advanced skills preferred)
- Experience with **Dynamics 365** or similar accounting software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flexible and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
