About the role

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Book Keeper to join our team at 4WD Interiors' in Dandenong South, VIC.

This full time role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for bookkeeping and administration to contribute to the success of our stable and consistent business.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, and GST reporting
  • Preparing and processing purchase orders, and other financial transactions
  • Preparing and processing weekly Payroll
  • GST and BAS reporting
  • Managing the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Providing administrative support, such as managing correspondence and data entry
  • Collaborating with the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping and accounting, preferably within a small business or practice environment
  • Diploma or Cert 4 in Bookkeeping is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proficiency in using Xero accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset with the initiative and ability to work autonomously
  • Familiarity with small business administration/accounting and general office procedures
