Eco-Farms is Australia’s largest aggregator and distributor of organic produce, servicing retail channels that range from boutique Fruit and Vegetable shops up to the major supermarkets. Our ambition is to grow our footprint by focussing on great products that excite consumers who are increasingly active in the food decisions they make.

**The Role**:
Eco-Farms is an established business looking to accelerate growth both through initiatives and improved utilisation of existing data. To enable this, we seek an analytical Financial Analyst who will harness our information and bring forward insights that accelerate decisions and support staff across all major functions of the business. The Financial Analyst will be able to use and report data from the business systems to direct areas of focus in driving growth. Having found appropriate commercial measures to drive outcomes, this role will systemise a process to ensure routine reporting against these KPI’s to ensure the business is able to measure, report and deliver results.

The Financial Analyst will also be heavily in the medium-term strategic planning covering aspects including reforecasts and 3-year plans and will also facilitate the annual budget process that enables detailed business forecasting, decision making, controlling spend and influencing behaviours.

**Key tasks**:

- Prepare monthly routine reports.
- Business Planning including reforecasts, 3-year plans and annual budgets.
- Develop reporting systems that make KPI reporting routine and automatic, focusing on both the product and customer perspective.
- Manage the BI cube reporting tools and validate data.
- Work with PE owners and facilitate their future intentions.
- Various ad hoc analysis as required.
- The ability to build processes from scratch that improve speed and commercial outcomes.
- Experience in an evolving environment where you had to devise and implement new systems, rather than simply manage inherited processes.
- Strong systems (Power BI, Cognos, Pronto and Excel preferred) ability as most company information can be downloaded, analysed and manipulated to identify trends and areas of opportunity.
- The ability to scenario plan to ensure that when making decisions, all alternatives are considered, and the best option selected.
- Resilience and the ability to solve problems imaginatively.
- Attention to detail with the experience to know when to stop and move on.
- Excited participation in an entrepreneurial work culture, and a passion for your now company’s product i.e. organic groceries and produce.
- An interest in going into the warehouse, participating in the early morning produce shift, and similar activities to get into the business as a means to learn and improve our commercial performance.

**Things we are looking for**:

- At least 3 years working for an FMCG or similar organisation.
- Methodical and systematic approach.
- Ability to communicate numerate and complex concepts in simple terms.
- Experience developing plans and managing to budget to influence behaviours.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
