**CONSTANT Security **is currently recruiting for exciting new opportunities with our client in the Student Accommodation sector.

We are seeking people who enjoy working with a diverse range of people both local, national and international. We seek mature minded people with good presence and an ability to deal with a variety of situations in a restorative and supportive manner with a focus on safety, pastoral care and student engagement. All genders and cultural backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

These positions will support college residents providing a safe and enjoyable experience while studying in a major local university.

We currently have **Permanent & Casual **overnight positions at the following locations:

- Hobart City
- Sandy Bay
- Launceston (Newnham & Inveresk)

All shift times in these locations will be 18:30-4:00 across 7 days, Sundays will be 09:00-19:00 and 19:00-04:00.

**Rates**

**Monday
- Friday** $33.39

**Saturday** $41.82

**Sunday **$55.76

**P/H** $69.70

**Duties may include**:
**Overnight coverage for each of the three sites (including Sunday day shift)**
- Engaging with residents in a positive and friendly manner
- General night manager/concierge duties
- Incident management and reporting
- Site security, safety and general wellbeing of residents
- Regular foot patrols
- Administration duties
- Responding to student enquiries and needs

**Applicants are required to possess the following**:

- Security Officer Licence or capacity to undertake required training immediately
- Current First Aid Certificate/CPR
- WWVP Card
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Health and wellbeing qualifications would be advantageous, but not essential
