Mechanical Fitter

Ventia have been engaged by Yarra Valley Water to provide maintenance to the water and infrastructure system in the Northern and Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your role will provide proactive & routine maintenance on all mechanical equipment to achieve optimum production and cost outcomes.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Demonstrating commitment to SH&E through, personal example and leadership
- Continuously oversee work, analyse production methods and production performance
- Contribute to the delivery of the project by being on time and within budget
- Maintenance and Testing Equipment
- Coordinating subcontractor and, ensuring compliance with Ventia and work and safety standards
- Monitoring subcontractors’ performance to ensure project plans and milestones are met

**What you will need**:

- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter with extensive experience
- Demonstrated experience in Water and or Waste-Water infrastructure projects.
- White card
- Hold a current driver’s licence
- Ability to work night shift on shutdowns or when required
- Willing to do on-call 1 week in 6
