We are currently seeking a Male Support Worker with a passion for providing exceptional care to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a male client living with dementia. By offering dedicated assistance and support, you will play a vital role in enhancing his quality of life.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist client in the completion of daily chores and personal management tasks
- Showering, Grooming, Dressing, Hygiene
- Assistance with Meal Preparation and feeding
- Help the client with mobility, including getting in and out of bed safely.
- Assistance with morning routine and evening routine
- Provide compassionate support to the client, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Client: Male
Condition: Dementia
Work Schedule: Monday - Wednesday - Friday
**Work Requirements**
- Possession of an Australian Business Number (ABN) is required.
- Working with Children Check, First Aid, and Australian National Police Check are preferred.
- Prior experience in dementia care or a related field is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and empathy are essential.
- Ability to adapt to the client's changing needs and provide personalized care.
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
