**About The Project**:
John Holland, Stantec and KBR are partnering with Sydney Water in an Alliance to deliver the North-West Treatment Hub - a brownfield treatment program that will commence with a $500 million upgrade of Rouse Hill and Riverstone wastewater treatment facilities. The project will achieve circular economy outcomes, increasing recycled water production, improving the quality of wastewater byproducts for reuse, and leveraging innovative treatment technologies that reduce carbon footprint. Upgrades will support the treatment of a further 45 megalitres of wastewater each day, to cater for growing northwest communities. The Project will deliver a new state-of-the-art biosolids facility at Riverstone, with new technology to improve the quality of wastewater byproducts.

**About The Role**:
We are looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our NWTH projects based in Riverstone and Rouse Hill NSW.

**Duties will consist of but not limited to**:

- Oversee the on-site delivery of defined scopes of work on schedule with all stakeholder expectations met.
- Provide and take leadership responsibility in health, safety and environment management.
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder management through positive, proactive and professional communication to keep key personnel informed.
- Manage industrial relations issues and implications and develop appropriate resolution.
- Conduct thorough performance management evaluation for direct and indirect reports as defined by the JH Performance Management Development System.
- Manage administrative duties for direct and indirect report requirements
- Ensure compliance in commercial and financial management including meeting budgets and identifying cost saving measures.
- Provide leadership in risk management, identify and mitigate risks prior to works commencing, communicate with and engage relevant stakeholders to control risk and build a risk management culture.
- Utilise project planning skills to plan work, monitor implementation and effectiveness to achieve outcomes for quarterly goals.
- Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates and take remedial action as required.
- Review design documentation, read drawings, provide constructive review and oversee implementation of final designs.
- Contribute to, seek and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems and procedures

**To be successful in this key role, you must have**:

- Trade Qualifications or Qualifications such as a Diploma, Building/Construction, Project Management.
- Extensive previous construction experience in a similar role
- Experience in industry relevant trade and construction operations of similar scale
- People and performance management of subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour
- Skill in review of design documentation, ability to understand drawings, provide constructability review and implement final design plans.
- Safety and environment management, resource management and construction program and methodology
