Iress organises software delivery based on the direction set by the Product team. A key role within the Product team is the Product Manager, whose primary role is to research the market, competitive landscape and our users needs, to define product vision and strategy, and with Iress’ engineering teams translate this vision into brilliant software products.
As part of our evolution, we are seeking a Product Manager to help define and execute a vision for a new set of market data platform services. This role works closely with other platform and market data teams to build, deploy and maintain these new services and ensure a high level of quality is maintained.
Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:
- Demonstrate deep product expertise through the use of a broad range of Product Management techniques to analyse market and competitive conditions, perform client and user research and to develop strong product visions and roadmaps, in line with Iress’ culture and ways of working- Ensure that the product strategy aligns with Iress' overall strategy and that roadmaps clearly support business goals- Manage aspects of cross-team dependencies (within and beyond Product teams) to keep track of key projects and deliveries from inception to production- Critically assess product ideas and requests globally and manage Commercial and Client teams expectations- Ensure that the product strategy is clearly communicated across Iress and that stakeholders are engaged, understanding of defined priorities and delivery timelines- Develop effective Go To Market strategies and effectively execute- Work closely with Product Managers, Product Researchers and Designers, Business Analysts, Heads of Product and Engineers to ensure that problem statements and product definition are complete and that engineering teams are clear on how to translate vision into delightful software- Ensure product backlogs are regularly groomed and that the backlog accurately reflects current status- Analyse client feedback and analytics around your products, building a clear picture of product performance
What you will bring:
- Knowledge of financial markets is highly desirable- Comprehensive product management experience, preferably with experience in a growth technology business building consumer facing digital products- Working knowledge of data-driven product management-
- Be familiar with agile/lean product and customer development approaches- Strategic and commercial, drives for results and eliminates roadblocks- Strong analytical skills with experience of user and product research- Creative thinker with a passion for creating engaging, consumer facing products
