**About the role**:
An exciting Demand Planning opportunity within our Merchandise team Reporting to the Merchandise Planner, effectively managing inventory in our dynamic Technology category, ensuring supply of stock meets future demand.

Key aspects of this role include:

- Managing the forward Demand Plans and execution of all Replenishment Orders, both local and import for the product portfolio nationally for all sales channels
- Maintaining the in-stock position for the portfolio, whilst also ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time to support catalogues, promotional events and business initiatives.
- Working closely with the Merchandise Planner to optimise inventory levels and achieve financial KPIs of sales, margin and stockturn
- Liaising with Suppliers, Retail Operations and Supply Chain to meet KPIs, improving availability and supplier DIFOT (delivered in full on time)
- Drive the inventory analysis and production of weekly reporting for the categories of responsibility

This key planning role represents a great opportunity to establish your Merchandise career with a growing and high-performing commercial team. A strong attention to detail and analytical capability will enable you to drive accurate forecasting to ensure product meets demand.

A clear communicator with ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders who is well organised and can manage their time to meet deadlines within a fast paced environment is well regarded.

Key skills and experience:

- 2+ years experience in a large multi-site retailer in an inventory planning capacity or have demonstrated initiative to develop and a desire to work in planning
- Strong numerical and analytical skills and amazing attention to detail
- Ability to build and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, whilst fostering open communication
- Sound time management skills, an aptitude for analysis and a tenacity to learn and progress
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills
- Experience using SAP and Demand Planning/Forecasting Tools (GAINS or similar)
