About the opportunity

We are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Analyst, Mandates to join our growing Funds Management team in Melbourne.

As the Analyst, Mandates, your key purpose will be to support the Head of Mandates in achieving or exceeding the performance objectives of the Mandates through thorough, timely, and insightful analysis, communication, and investment decision-making in accordance with ISPT Policies and Procedures.

**Other task will include**:

- Produce detailed analysis, including recommendations, on data outputs, ensuring data integrity across the mandates.
- Develop and maintain constructive working relationships within ISPT, Joint Venture Alliances, and investors to optimize decision-making, performance, and exercise of delegations.
- Manage and evolve the existing Mandate Cash Flow model, incorporating budget and 3-year forecast information and inputs from the quarterly property valuation process. Run sensitivities around capital management, transactions, development activity, and macro-economic and real estate market factors.
- Review and assist with model integrity assessment for project feasibilities, developments, capital transactions, or major refurbishment investments and associated capital management scenarios to assess the impact on returns, unit value, and distributions.
- Work in consultation with ISPT Investment team, modelling complex scenarios and options at the fund level to ensure decisions align with the mandate’s investment objectives.
- Partner with sector, valuations, market, performance, and finance teams, refining portfolio analytical tools and integration of data and analytics into investment decision-making and capital management.

About You

To thrive in this role, we're looking for someone who has a strong academic background in property, finance, accounting, or a related undergraduate degree. Ideally you have at least 2 years of experience in the property/finance or a related sector, and we'd particularly value analytics experience in funds management, investment banking, property, infrastructure advisory, or corporate finance.

**Further skills required are**:

- Proficiency in conducting Discounted Cashflow (DCF) analysis, development feasibility analysis, and fund modelling using Excel, with a desirable working knowledge of property valuations.
- Previous experience in report writing and a demonstrated ability to effectively utilize PowerPoint for impactful presentations.
- Well-developed planning and organisational skills to ensure a streamlined workflow.
- A proven track record of analysing and assessing problems, with the ability to translate real-world scenarios and risks into effective financial models.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, encompassing both verbal and written communication, consultation, and networking, along with a natural inclination to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
