Senior Analyst – Real Assets M&A Advisory | Melbourne

A growing boutique advisory firm is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Real Assets M&A team in Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leaders on buy-side and sell-side transactions across the energy, infrastructure and real estate sectors.

About the Firm

The firm is an established boutique advisory business providing independent corporate finance advice across renewable energy, real estate and infrastructure sectors. The firm maintains an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture, where Analysts and Associates gain exposure across multiple sectors and transaction types.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support live and prospective M&A transactions
  • Assist in the execution of buy-side and sell-side mandates across real assets
  • Conduct detailed financial and commercial analysis to support deal execution
  • Prepare information memoranda, management presentations and other transaction materials
  • Work closely with senior team members across energy, infrastructure and real estate transactions

Candidate Profile

  • 1-3 years' experience in Big 4 Valuations, Transaction Services, or Project Finance (or another analytical, deal-focused environment)
  • Strong academic background and advanced financial modelling skills
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative and proactive approach within a high-performing team
  • Interest in real assets and M&A advisory
  • Ideally Melbourne-based or open to relocating - must have full working rights in Australia
