**The role**

The Coordinator - Shipping role is responsible for the, execution, performance and planning of the CBH Grain Bulk and Container export program. This role is a key position to ensure the right cargo is delivered to the right place and at the right time and that Cargo payments for all CBH Grain Exports is received in the quickest possible time.

Exporting to over 35 countries around the world, the excitement and challenging aspects of Shipping and Exporting Grain, ‘Feeding the world’ cannot be matched. The complexities and variety that comes with shipping different grains in different size vessels and containers make this role like none other in the shipping industry.

**Key responsibilities**- Preparation, checking and distribution of shipping documentation both pre and post shipment to grain export markets complying with Letter of Credit’s, document instructions and contract terms.- Working closely with Internal and External Stakeholders and service providers to ensure safe, efficient and effective management of CBH Grains export shipping program- Providing efficient customer service for progress and enquiries regarding current and future shipments and executions- Vetting Letters of Credit and Document instructions for both bulk and container shipments, coordination of export contracts of sales,- Government regulations requirements for all Exports including Customs and DAWR requirements and actioning task required and per Export compliance before and after shipments- Continuous Improvements and efficiencies- Close working with Shipping Operations around Vessel Nominations, Finalising Freight invoices and Laytime calculations for CBH Grain Bulk shipments

**Skills and experience**- Minimum 3 years' experience in Export Shipping- Excellent interpersonal skills - establishing positive relationships, negotiating, conflict resolution, influencing and education- Continuous improvement focus- Excellent communication skills - communicates effectively with Staff, Managers and External Service Providers and Customers at all levels- Excellent written communication skills - ability to prepare reports, business plans, and other documentation- Strong Excel skills- Excellent problem solving skills- Attention to detail and accuracy essential
