**About The Role**:
The Governance Advisor plays a pivotal role in enhancing the Council’s Governance Management functions. Working alongside the Governance Coordinator and the Governance Team, this position is responsible for supporting effective and ethical operations throughout the organisation.

**Who We're Looking For**:
We are looking for a skilled Governance Advisor who is passionate about good governance practices and has a proven track record in advisory roles.
- Tertiary qualifications in governance, business administration, local government, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in governance advisory or business partner roles.
- In-depth knowledge of governance best practices and trends.
- Experience in developing and implementing Governance Frameworks in public sector environments.
- Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication capabilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships at all organisational levels.

- **Interview date**:Interviews will be facilitated within 2 weeks of the closing date
- **Package**:$91,120 - $102,059 (full time equivalent) gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
- **Hours of work**:Permanent Part-Time, Monday - Wednesday (21 hours per week)
