We are looking for a dynamic highly motivated individual to manage operations of a unique wine shop and bar in the Hobart CBD. With wines sourced from around the world that are new to Australia and a chic interior design Molto Wine bar/shop is ready to wow Hobart.
- Purchasing of wines from around Australia and the World

- A leader who is all things customer service, passionate about delivering knowledgeable service, building rapport with guests and generating more returning customers
- Immaculate presentation, well-groomed and a well-rounded personable professional.
- Experience purchasing, controlling wine lists and stocks.
- Advanced industry knowledge across all things wine
- WSET accreditation is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities include
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Upholding responsible service of alcohol and safe food preparation guidelines.
- All aspects of HR management.
- Purchasing and stocktake.
- WET tax management.
- Submit quarterly BAS statements to tax office.
- Providing management with quarterly financial reports.

Wine shop
- Develop relationships with wine wholesalers/winemakers and ensure the shop is filled with appropriate wines that reflect the Molto model.
- Source rare wines
- Maximise wine turnover
- Ensure online shop stock levels match in house stock levels.
- Pre-empt seasonal sales variation.
- Ensure all bottles are accurately and clearly labelled with price.
- Display all products effectively for maximum exposure and sales potential.
- Ensure floor stacked products & displays are fresh, interesting, rotated and turned over in good time
- Ensure all stock is in good condition and stored appropriately.

Wine bar
- Provide interesting wines by the glass that link in with current promos in shop.
- Develop a menu to suit the current operating space and conditions.
- Ensure food is profitable.
- Engage with customers and promote wine education and a relaxed environment.
- Ensure a premium standard of food and service.
