About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full time Hobart cbd to join our dynamic team at Oxford Shop' in Hobart TAS 7000. As a full-time retail assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and contributing to the overall success of our store.

What you'll be doing

  1. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each customer's needs are met with care and attention
  2. Assist with merchandising, stock management and replenishment to maintain store presentation and product availability
  3. Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, including cash handling and balancing
  4. Actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve store operations
  5. Maintain a clean, safe and organised retail environment
  6. Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and store-wide sales targets

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer-facing retail role, preferably in a similar industry
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse customer base
  3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
