**How will I Help?**
Corporate Lending Operations (CLO) forms part of WIB Operations under the Group Operations division.
Corporate Lending Operations is managed through its Central Hub in Sydney utilising a 24 hour follow the sun model which is supported by our Financial Markets Operations team. The broader business is responsible for processing and settlement of Agency, Bilateral and Syndicated loan transactions, including Bank Guarantees, Asset Finance and Securitisation.
WIB Operations also manage Security & Derivative product settlement and clearing including European & Domestic Bonds and Treasury processing. Responsible for daily reconciliation of the Group’s stock and Nostro cash accounts as well as internal control reporting and settle compensation claims which may arise through trading activity and investigation of reconciliation breaks.
The key focus of this role is to create and maintain a business unit that is focussed on increasing customer satisfaction, developing a high performing and skilled workforce and cost-efficient business practices. The role operates in accordance with Compliance & Privacy requirements and manages operational risk effectively.
**Responsibilities include, but not limited to**:
- Daily Operational processing ensuring that all payment, confirmation, reconciliation, and investigation obligations have been met and that customer service levels are maintained at the highest level.
- Central Operational contact for loan markets or trade related queries. Responsible for owning the investigation and providing a resolution to both internal and external clients.
- Ensure accurate checklist completion and escalation of any items that are not actioned on a daily basis.
- Work closely with peer group to ensure process consistency and effective handover across the 24 hour global operation.
- Ensure inputs into Active Operations Management (AOM) and Error Capture (IORAF) platforms are timely, consistent, and accurate.
- Ensure you understand the risk environment in which you operate and ask questions where necessary.

**What do I need?**
**Skills and Experience required**:
- Degree qualification preferred.
- Previous operational or corporate guarantee experience in a large corporate would be highly regarded
- Specific product knowledge advantageous (Loan Markets, Debt products, derivatives, money market financial transactions).
- Excellent focus on attention to detail with the capability to work and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Energetic and motivated, able to work well inside a group and broadly across an organisation.
- Confident and articulate communicator.
- Positive and enthusiastic approach to acquiring product and systems knowledge.
- Flexible team player with the ability to work under pressure.
