We are seeking a Program Lead - Sustainability Reporting to join our Sustainability and Waterways Group within the Strategy and Engagement Division.

***The Opportunity**

As the Program Lead - Sustainability Reporting you will lead the planning and implementation of a robust reporting framework that responds to new and emerging climate disclosure and sustainability reporting requirements.

**What you'll do**:

- Lead the planning and delivery of Hunter Water’s sustainability reporting framework and climate disclosures.
- Lead and coordinate the development, implementation and review of corporate policies and processes to ensure alignment with a dynamic regulatory landscape.
- Lead and coordinate the development and implementation of processes to capture and produce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions data.
- Lead and coordinate the development and implementation of processes to capture and produce climate change-related risk and scenario analysis data.
- Provide expert advice and information to management on sustainability and climate related reporting and disclosure matters.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and develop initiatives and programs to build capability to improve monitoring, reporting and disclosure of sustainability and climate change matters.

**What you'll need to be successful**:
**Essential Criteria**:

- Tertiary qualifications in sustainability, commerce, risk, economics, law, or other related discipline.
- Familiarity with sustainability and climate change matters.
- Experience in change management and project management in delivering strategic initiatives.
- Strategic mindset and strong analytical skills including the ability to simplify complex matters and identify improvements or solutions to complex issues.
- Highly developed communication skills, including business writing and presentations
- Highly developed organisational skills demonstrated through the ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities while delivering key milestones.
- Proven ability to collaborate and build effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, across all levels of the business, to ensure prompt resolution of inquiries.
- Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Qualifications in climate change or sustainability fields.
- Experience with greenhouse gas emission reporting frameworks.
- Experience with climate change risk management and scenario analysis.
- Experience with sustainability and climate change reporting frameworks and standards.
- Familiarity with climate change impacts on the urban water industry.
