**Total Tools Cooper Plains**is looking for a **Visual Merchandising Sales Specialist**, who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your current skills and experience within a growing and diverse business.

The Visual Merchandiser / Sales Specialist is responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service while ensuring the store is visually compelling, well-stocked, and merchandised according to company standards. This dual role blends expert product knowledge and selling ability with strong visual merchandising skills to enhance customer experience, drive sales, and support overall store performance.

**What will you be doing?**

**Customer Service**
- Provide exceptional customer service in-store and over the phone.
- Offer product advice and technical information, or direct queries to the appropriate team member.
- Process transactions, special orders, and item deliveries.
- Proactively handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a positive outcome.
- Create and dispatch customer special orders and item delivery.

**Visual Merchandising**
- Implement and maintain in-store displays according to Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines.
- Ensure store layout, displays, end bays, and promo setups are engaging.
- Regularly update ticketing, signage, and price labels (manual and system-generated).
- Ensure all displays are visually appealing, stocked full, organized by product and price, and meet safety/security standards.
- Ensure all stock is priced correctly and labelled.
- Bulk pricing is labelled in all appropriate areas
- Manual price updates labelled the same day when required
- A4 and A6 showcards correctly displayed throughout the store
- Provide photos of promo setups to management and post to internal platforms (e.g. Yammer).
- Removal of catalogue ticketing/updating labelling at conclusion of event / catalogue period

**Workplace Safety & Security**
- Perform all tasks in a manner that will ensure there is no risk of causing injury or harm to self or others
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Provide a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OH&S guidelines, keeping areas clean and tidy including ensuring the shop floor is free of any trip hazards
- Notify Store Manager of any potential hazards
- No stock is to leave the store by any means without being paid for or invoiced or paperwork accompanying a return/credit

**Theft/Shrinkage**
- Report any suspected theft or suspicious behaviour

**General**
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Undertake training as provided by store and suppliers
- Assist with the development of new relays and store racking
- Follow all Manual Handling guidelines
- All range reviews/new arrivals to be carried out/cut in and executed in a timely manner
- Other tasks as designated from time to time

**Does this sound like you?**
- Previous retail and/or Visual Merchandising experience
- Has worked with, understands, and has a passion for tools
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated, and a phenomenal teammate
- Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service
- Comfortable with technology - computer literacy is a must
- Basic to Intermediate MS Office skills
- Available for weekdays, weekends, and some public holiday work
