**About the role**
Offered as a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with the possibility of permanent, this role works within the broader Fund & Mandate Compliance team, sitting within Operation, and will have responsibility across the following:

- Lead or assist in the identification of emerging risks, trends and developments in investment compliance as they impact the Funds
- Assist in the development of a framework to capture operational obligations to Investors and clients
- Ensure that investment rules are capable of being monitored, working closely with front office and other teams
- Lead or participate in project work as required to improve processes and procedures as they pertain to investment compliance
- Actively contribute to the training and development of team members to ensure the continued uplift of the team’s skills
- Perform and oversee daily pre and post trade monitoring across a range of asset classes
- Identify and investigate breaches, and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure they are appropriately reported and remediated
- Work closely within and across functions (e.g. front office; IT) to address data and trade compliance issues

**About you**

You must be able to work on tasks independently and work effectively with resources in other functions to complete projects. You will have a high attention to detail, be comfortable handling multiple tasks with an ability to prioritise. As a strong relationship builder, you will be comfortable consulting with individuals at all levels.

Experience or exposure to Aladdin by BlackRock software is desirable, but not required.
