**Are you ready for an exceptional opportunity in venue management?**

Hobsons Bay City Council is seeking an inspiring leader to oversee our cultural venues unit. This role encompasses every aspect of venue management—planning, programming, presentation, utilisation, and operations.

**About the Venues**
- Altona Theatre: A 246-seat proscenium arch theatre, perfect for performing arts and intimate events.
- Williamstown Town Hall: A versatile venue with a 1000+ capacity, hosting live music, theatre, cultural and religious events, school functions, markets, gala nights, festivals, civic ceremonies, and community bookings.

**What you need to succeed**
- Extensive experience in venue or facility management, events, and production; advanced technical knowledge would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Knowledge of risk management and a commitment to ensuring a safe operating environment.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, strategic planning, and asset management.
- Appreciation of the role local government plays in community engagement, arts, heritage, and facility management.
