Reporting to our Chief Operations Officer, the Human Resources Operations Manager for our Cannon Hill Processing facility is a fast paced and challenging role - typical of an FMCG manufacturing environment
The role works closely with the COO and operational leaders in production, maintenance, stores, quality, logistics and labour hire providers to deliver on people initiatives within our culturally diverse workforce of approximately 900 employees, to drive engagement, performance and productivity.

**About You**:
With demonstrated experience as a mid to senior generalist ideally within a manufacturing, meat or FMCG environment, you bring loads of energy and can thrive juggling multiple and constantly changing priorities. You’re down to earth, approachable and highly effective liaising at all levels within a diverse workforce. Ideally, you'll also bring:
- Experience leading enterprise bargaining processes, including FWC documentation
- Demonstrated employee relations expertise including formal disciplinary procedures and outcomes, performance management activity, grievance resolution, policy development and implementation and employee consultation.
- Hands on experience delivering end to end recruitment, talent attraction and retention strategies (ideally blue collar)
- Ability to manage HR matters effectively within a unionised environment
- Knowledge and experience using cloud based HRIS including reporting and analytics
- Strong computer literacy across Microsoft suite
- Ability to produce tailored written communications including job advertisements, employee communications, formal disciplinary outcomes, reports and presentations.
- Ability to build manager and supervisor capability through coaching and modelling HR best practice
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and coaching others.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications is preferred, though extensive practical experience is recognised.
It’s a bonus if you bring knowledge and understanding of visas and employment related migration.
