**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are currently looking for a Catering Officer to join the team in Toowoomba on a part time basis for the next 12 months. In this role your main focus will be to provide healthy lunchtime meals to our internal employees while also providing catering services for meetings and visitors as required. You will also:

- Plan weekly and ad hoc menus.
- Maintain food stocks and placing orders for food supplied based on menu items selected and receiving and verifying food deliveries against invoices.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen including washing up, emptying bins and the cleaning of cooking equipment and work stations.
- Ensure a healthy supply of snack foods, tea, coffee and condiments are readily available.

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this position you will have experience in hospitality (food preparation & cooking) and a proven ability to cater for large groups preparing meals in strict timeframes. You’ll also bring:

- Formal Food Safety Training (Essential).
- Formal Hospitality Training (Preferred or equivalent demonstrated skills and experience).
- Barista Training (Preferred but not essential).
- Experience in using Flexischools App (Preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Good digital literacy and be comfortable with using technology.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
