**About the Role**:
As the Head of Department of the Arts and Digital Technology, you'll be at the helm of a remarkable team, guiding them in unlocking the creative potential of our students. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of the Arts and Digi Tech curriculum and fostering a culture of creative excellence.
With classes spanning Visual Arts, Media Arts, Music, Drama, and Dance, you'll have the opportunity to shape the direction of all disciplines, driving innovation and growth. Within this faculty, you will also oversee the burgeoning Digital Technology field, with Junior Secondary classes covering programming and game design. Your strategic vision will set the course for our students' artistic development and contribute to their future success.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.
- Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling especially in relation to students and staff within the school department.
- Manage the human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources of the school department to achieve goals.
