What you’ll contribute to
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Project Specialist in our Aftersales Division until September 2026.
The Aftersales Division is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all national parts and accessories activities including sales, business development, procurement, supplier management, dealer support and warehouse operations to achieve sales volume, market share, profitability objectives and optimise warehouse operations to global best standards.
The Logistics Project Specialist is primarily responsible for coordinating the logistics and parts transfers activities for the new Toyota parts centre (TPC) for service parts and accessories within the aftersales division (ASD). This is done to ensure the most effective logistics flow and quality outcome, from ordering to point of shipment and final delivery to dealers and guests.
This role is based in Brisbane and is max term until September 2026.
How you’ll make an impact
Transport Logistics- Plan all transport for new TPC Brisbane sites including coordinating the transport of service parts and accessories, ensuring system is facilitating the logistics flow, and ensuring zero damage to product throughout the process.- Implement and review agreed transport, quality systems, processes and procedures and provide advice on and assist managers in the development of policies and standards for transport and quality to improve guest experience.
Project and Compliance:
- Support improvement opportunities, monitor and analyse performance against targets for own area and recommend countermeasures where required to ensure that agreed objectives can be achieved.- Update and maintain reporting systems to support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.- Monitor tasks with respect to compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements.
Vendor and Stakeholder management- Develop the assessment and selection of suppliers to secure delivery of services at expected quality and at optimal cost. Support ongoing supplier management.- Coordinate and facilitate transportation and quality forums to ensure that plans, progress and issues, including transit damage, incident reporting, parts and accessories processing and storage damage, are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.
Your skills and attributes - If you’ve got one or more, we’d love to hear from you- Accumulative experience in logistics, operations and transport ideally in a project environment- Well organised and can prioritise workloads on an hourly / daily basis- Can plan, and think quickly and strategically- Work well under pressure and to strict deadlines- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team- Able to work independently- Ability showcase data and information in meaningful and accurate reports- Degree or other qualification in Logistics, Business or Engineering would be beneficial but not required
