Drakes Supermarkets is a Retail industry success story. A family owned and operated private company, we are Australia's largest independently-owned supermarket chain. We currently have an exciting opportunity available within the management team for our Samford Service Deli
The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to treat the department as if it were their own business. They will be given the training and resources required to assist both the department Manager and Assistant Manager with the day-to-day operations of the department.
**Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate**:
- Fresh food or retail experience is desired, but not essential
- Ability to assist supporting and managing a team
- Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach
- Unparalleled commitment to customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to liaise with both team members and management
- A flair for merchandising
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
- Commitment to work health and safety standards
