Part time 15 hours per week, Varies roster across 7 days

**Your day to day activities**:

- Conduct pool opening procedures, including removing pool covers, cleaning the pool and surrounds
- Place lane ropes in pool and prepare all safety equipment
- Test the pool water and record the daily results in SMM
- Conduct lifeguard activates throughout the opening hours of the pool
- Undertake the rescue of any user as required in accordance with standard work instructions covered by the certification
- Ensure all pool safety equipment and rescue equipment is available at all times
- Conduct pool closing procedures
- Manage access to swimming pools by entitled members only

**ABOUT YOU**
- Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Current Resuscitation Certificate
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Genuine passion for excellent customer service
- Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)
- Certificate III in Fitness (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a life guard role
