The Coordination and Management role will drive collaboration and create the strategic focus and direction for the Queensland Government and active industry by ensuring strategy, partnerships, programs and services, supported by robust portfolio management encourage and support Queenslanders to pursue a healthy and active lifestyle.
**Our focus**: We are a dynamic hub that accelerates ideas into responsive products and programs for Queenslanders, which includes: - Leading the design and development of contemporary and outcome focussed programs;
- Co-ordinating key program activities such as assessment, financial approval and post-implementation process reviews;
- Management of programs that provide direct support to Queenslanders toparticipate in physical activity; and
- Accountability for the governance framework for Sport and Recreation grants.
