The Office of the Deputy Director-General acts as the liaison point for the Director-General's and Minister's offices, as well as providing advice and direction on behalf of the Deputy Director-General to the business areas of Sport and Recreation, and other areas of the department. The office facilitates the coordination of workflow across Sport and Recreation and works to provide high level advice and direction to Sport and Recreation staff on the development of general, strategic and operational requests. The office undertakes special projects of a complex/sensitive nature as assigned by the Deputy Director-General and has oversight of Deputy Director General's administration functions.EligibilityTo be eligible for employment to this role you must possess:
Citizenship/Visa Requirements You must be an Australian citizen, have permanent residency status or a visa permitting you to work in Australia. If you are not an Australian citizen you will need to provide evidence of your residency status or visa, with your right to work (including any conditions / restrictions). You are required to notify the department if your right to work in Australia ceases.
