The Australian Climate Service seeks a strong strategic leader and collaborator who has a track record for delivering results in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Reporting to the Group Executive of the Australian Climate Service, the General Manager will provide leadership of the Australian Climate Service delivery streams and work closely with leaders from across the Australian Government, the four Australian Climate Service delivery partners and other key climate and natural disaster stakeholders. The General Manager will have an important role in building collaborations that deliver practical and valued services for target decision-makers.

The Australian Climate Service is a virtual agency with a complex and dynamic operating environment. The General Manager will play a key role helping to create an innovative, outcome focused and efficient agency. They will also drive better connection of the Australian Government's extensive data, information, and capabilities to better understand climate and natural disaster risks.

The General Manager will lead services which inform risk reduction and climate adaptation as well as providing services that support natural disaster preparedness, response and recovery.
