**About the Business**
Our Aboriginal Practice and Partnerships team coordinates activities that aim to improve outcomes for Aboriginal clients, their families and communities. This includes informing DHS policy and practice, supporting staff who are Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal who work in Aboriginal-focused programs, and providing direct supports to Aboriginal young people and their families in partnership with community.

**Role Details**
The Manager (MAYFS) is a role within Community and Aboriginal Partnerships and is accountable to the Director, Aboriginal Practice and Partnerships for:

- leading the development, design and implementation of high quality, outcome focused and culturally appropriate services for Aboriginal children, young people and their families
- providing strong leadership, support and advocacy across internal and external service providers to strengthen relationships and pathways to maximise outcomes for Aboriginal children and young people
- building strategic partnerships with Aboriginal organisations and local communities and other key partners in the metropolitan area, with a focus on local diversionary and support services for Aboriginal children and young people
- providing strategic leadership and operational management of all services delivered by MAYFS including the management of financial, physical and human resources.

- Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).

**Role Status**:Term up to 31/07/2026.

**Salary Range**:$127,859 (MAS3)

**Location**:Elizabeth South
