**About the role**:
Reporting to the Head of People Performance & Experience (PPX) & working alongside 3 other wonderful teammates, you'll operate as the go-to person for all HR-related queries, with a focus on coaching & influencing your stakeholders on HRM best practices across the employee lifecycle.
**Some other specific activities include**:
- Partnering with Managers to understand departmental objectives & strategy & then proactively formulating, developing, & implementing a people plan to support each department.
- Coordinating onboarding & offboarding activities.
- Administering employee data changes.
- Document management (change of position letters, termination in probation letters, remote work overseas letters, separation certificates, etc.)
- Act as the conduit between payroll & all employees when required.
- Assisting the Talent & Culture Advisor with recruitment activities from time to time.
- Performing exit interviews.
- Developing & facilitating training to managers on HRM best practices
- Maintaining HR systems (BambooHR, Bonus.ly, Calm - training will be provided) including raising reports for key people insights.
- Project management of key people initiatives
- Developing your own people experience initiatives to support the department's strategy.
- Support the People Performance Manager in change management by rolling out programs & initiatives, including those relating to employee health & well-being.
- Designated Return to Work Coordinator (RTWC) for the business - training will be provided.

**What you'll bring to the table**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or a similar relevant field. Why? Because we want to see some personal commitment to your profession It also shows us that you are self-disciplined.
- A minimum of 2 years experience as an HR Generalist. This is not a fake-it-to-you-make-it role
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary HR issues & trends. Warning - our Head of People Performance & Experience will talk your head off...so be prepared to know what's happening in this profession
- A proactive approach to work, taking initiative, & having high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build & maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels to drive results & influence outcomes.
- Excellent organisational & planning skills with an ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written & oral, & the ability to demonstrate empathy & understanding.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities & interpersonal skills, particularly in persuasion & negotiation.
- Conceptual thinker - sees patterns or trends & makes the complex simple.
- A growth mindset that accepts feedback & learns from mistakes.
- Performs well under pressure & maintains a positive approach through uncertainty & change.
