Farm Sustainability Program Manager.

Our client is a leading diary company with market leading products and innovative ideas.

Flexible location from SE QLD to Northern NSW.

As the environment and carbon only become more in focus for businesses, we are seeking a Farm Sustainability Program Manager to be the driver of these programs for the company. Technology on offer and farm production methods are improving at a rapid rate and both farmers and industry will have to learn to adapt quickly to be sustainable both financially and environmentally into the future.

We are seeking an experienced dairy professional or other Argi related industry with significant experience in extension and the ability to lead the companies on farm sustainability programs with producers.

You will also be responsible for keeping up to date with the latest technology and developments from both private industry and government departments as it relates to sustainability & carbon programs.

You will be the focal person internally to train and support company staff who are involved in sustainability / stewardship initiatives such as the Australian Dairy Carbon reduction initiative which looks to reduce Green House Gas emissions for the sector by 30% by 2030.

Provide reporting and tracking of sustainability programs on farm programs such that both internal and external stakeholders are able to track progress.

Consult with industry and government experts to ensure best practices are adopted and implemented.
