**Domestic Assistant/Support Worker**

Southern Support Family is focused on delivering home care, home maintenance and allied health services. We also cater for many clients with diverse needs such as the home care package recipients, NDIS participates and those who are culturally & linguistically diverse and those in care facilities.

We are currently seeking Domestic Assistants who can prepare southern Chinese cuisine for our aged care clients in Strathfield NSW.

Duties Include:

- Preparing meals (Southern Chinese cuisine)
- Doing dishes
- Household cleaning
- Ironing clothes and changing bed sheets/towels
- Make sure the house is cleaned/maintained to a high standard
- Other domestic support and household activities.

About you:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Fluency in Mandarin is preferred)
- Ability to work autonomously
- Reliable, flexible, and able to commit to a variety of shifts.
- Applicants must have a valid police clearance.

This gives us a brief understanding of your background.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 15 per week

Schedule:

- On call

COVID-19 considerations:
It is highly recommended to have at least two doses of the Covid19 vaccine.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Strathfield NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
