**Location**: Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne

The Project Finance Officer will play a key role in supporting project budgets, forecasting, and overseeing the full project lifecycle.

This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of financial data within the ERP project management system, identifying potential issues, and contributing to the development of business solutions. The Project Finance Officer will also drive the continuous improvement of financial operations and transactional processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Administer the accurate and timely creation of projects within our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) in accordance with the contract and project deliverables
- Work with Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle to drive efficient and effective client invoicing in line with project plans and agreements
- Prepare and provide financial analysis and information to assist project managers and support commercial decisions
- Support project managers across a portfolio of projects of varying complexities, sizes, and values
- Contribute to the achievement of the broader Finance team goals
- Work in harmony with Umwelt’s values, objectives, policies, and procedures

**About You**:

- Minimum 4 years’ experience in project finance administration or a similar role
- Experience working with multiple consulting projects or other project financial work
- Proven history of overseeing entire project lifecycles, using work breakdown structures, and having a good understanding of standard project management processes
- Experience in working within an ERP
- Well-developed time management skills
- Strong organisation skills to succeed at managing multiple ongoing tasks
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, Word, Excel)
- Experience using Project Management software will be highly regarded
