Tyrecycle National Maintenance Planner

**Your Opportunity**:
The primary focus of the National Maintenance Planner is to ensure that the machinery used in all of our plants is in the best possible working order. This is done by developing maintenance strategies, as well as scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the maintenance of all plant equipment; and to develop and monitor work schedules to support the delivery of preventive maintenance and capital programs.

The key objectives of this role are to:

- To provide the day to day administration through the computerised maintenance management system (MEX), bringing together the appropriate trade resources, materials and parts and knowledge for the work to be completed safely, to a high standard.
- Plan shutdown-related work for each site, identifying and implementing permits as required.
- Develop/review standard job plans in MEX to ensure a consistent approach is delivered for repetitive jobs.
- Regularly reviewing all required maintenance, collating and updating information in a detailed plan
- Partnering with Leadership Team to understand strategic priorities and identifying alignment of strategic, corrective and routine maintenance and opportunities for efficiencies.

**About you**:

- Technical qualifications in mechanical and or electrical fields (such as Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) and/or relevant experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and to interact with employees from a broad range of disciplines
- Experience and understanding of work management systems, planning processes and work prioritisation
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Proficient computer skills
- High level organisational skills
- Demonstrated capacity to accurately record, manage, and analyse data electronically
- Ability to work under limited supervision and meet tight deadlines
