**Your New Opportunity**:
We have a newly created opportunity for a Maintenance Leading Hand to join our Tyrecycle team in **Erskine Park, NSW** on a full-time basis.

This is a key role within the site management team and is responsible for maintaining all operating equipment to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance to meet agreed performance targets and statutory requirements.

You will also be responsible for continual improvement in plant and process performance, to achieve best practice in the areas of safety, environment, quality, housekeeping, efficiency, and utilization.

**You will have key responsibility in**:

- Foster and promote safe working behaviours and display a commitment to Tyrecycle safety standards and OHS requirements.
- Support the maintenance of plant and equipment - to be undertaken in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and statutory requirements
- Manage maintenance activities as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and in conjunction with operational needs.
- Lead and mentor the maintenance team
- Manage external contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, and statutory requirements.

**About you**:

- Understanding of safe work practices and manual handling
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating plant equipment
- A hands on leader who leads by example
- A reliable team player with a logical mine and able to work through problems
- Physically fit to handle repetitive heavy lifting up to 20kgs
- Previous experience loading of containers would be an advantage
- Basic mechanical skills would also be an advantage
