**Role**:
**As an Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator your key responsibilities include**:

- Assist in the development and maintenance of the S&W strategy/annual plan.
- Contribute to the provision of innovative solutions for injury reduction and S&W optimization.
- Provide advice and support for continuous improvement in S&W within the farms and hatchery.
- Chair Safety and Wellbeing Committee Meetings.
- Support regulatory compliance by assisting with the closure of improvement notices.
- Monitor and provide oversight for new or changing S&W laws, regulations, and standards.
- Develop strong working relationships with key management and operational staff.
- Ensure understanding of Hazeldenes' strategic expectations among management teams.
- Oversee 'best practice' S&W change management principles.
- Foster co-operative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure personal compliance with Hazeldenes safe working standards.

**About you**:
Ideally you will be passionate about safety and keen to protect Hazeldene’s workers, the business and the environment, with the ability to develop effective relationships and champion safety throughout the organization:

- Tertiary qualification in S&W and/or related discipline(s).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a safety role.
- Willingness to work reasonable additional hours.
- Working knowledge of Vic S&W Legislation.
- A broad understanding of Australian Standards and relevant Codes of Practice.
- Experience working with SHE Management Systems and principles.
- Food manufacturing experience is highly regarded.
