This proactive OHS Coordinator role will be focused on engagement, coaching, and continuous improvement - not fighting fires.

You'll have the chance to work closely with leaders, empower them to take ownership of safety in their areas, and make a meaningful impact in a workplace with low-risk operations and strong safety foundations.

With the incumbent available for handover, you'll step into a role that is well-supported, clearly structured, and valued across the organisation.

The Role Reporting to the Director of Shared Services, you will: Lead the implementation of the organisation's OHS plan, ensuring compliance with legislation and promoting best practice initiatives.

Act as Secretary to the OHS Committee and the Child Safety Committee, managing agendas, minutes, and reporting to senior management and the board.

Partner with managers to coach, guide, and hold them accountable for safety outcomes in a positive, constructive way.

Manage workplace incident reporting, hazard identification, and risk assessments.

Oversee Work Cover and Return-to-Work processes, liaising with insurers, medical providers, and staff.

Support emergency and critical incident management in collaboration with the Property & Facilities team.

Deliver one-on-one safety inductions for new employees and coordinate safety-related training.

Skills & Experience We're looking for someone who is: Qualified - Minimum Diploma in OHS (or higher).

Engaging & approachable - Builds trust and rapport easily.

Self-sufficient - Thrives with autonomy and can set their own agenda.

A coach - Guides and empowers managers to take ownership of safety.

Organised - Balances priorities effectively and meets reporting deadlines.
