AGL’s Construction Excellence team have a newly created and exciting opportunity for a Systems, Quality & ESG Manager.
With the flexibility to be based across any of AGL’s sites (corporate or operational), you will be helping to deliver AGL’s construction strategy through continuous improvement and driving excellence in construction management.
Our Construction Excellence team focuses on the development and delivery of strategic plans, integrating robust standards and systems, while embracing ESG principles to deliver our power development and generation strategy, realising AGL’s ambitious targets of 12GW of new renewable capacity by 2035.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop, implement, and maintain integrated management systems to support compliance with ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001, as well as ESG standards and regulations.
- Lead the adoption and alignment of AGL's ESG Framework within the Construction team, ensuring that all projects and initiatives adhere to the environmental, social, and governance commitments made by AGL.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to management system standards, regulatory requirements, and ESG criteria.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities and enhance ESG performance.

What you’ll bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Management, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering or related field.
- Certifications in relevant ISO standards, ESG standards and other management system methodologies.
- The ability to collaborate across multi-disciplined teams, influence and build relationships across the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in complex and large-scale operating environments.
- Experience in the construction, heavy industry or energy sector
