We're on the hunt for an energetic, sales-focussed Espresso Bar Manager to take the reins of our brand-new flagship retail store opening soon in Kensington.

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and manage the daily operations of our new flagship Espresso Bar. You’ll be responsible for leading a growing team of baristas; driving retail sales, ensuring top-notch service and maintaining exceptional coffee standards - all while fostering a welcoming and community-focused atmosphere.

Key responsibilities include (not limited to):
Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless service and a consistently high standard of coffee.

Lead, train, and develop a team of passionate bar staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork and continuous learning.Maintain exceptional coffee quality implementing training programs and upholding best practices in brewing and service.Drive retail coffee sales by analyzing sales trends, promoting key products, and educating both staff and customers on their benefits.Collaborate with the roasting team to highlight and showcase Rumble’s coffee range in creative and engaging ways.Ensure the espresso bar is always clean, organized, and visually appealing, reinforcing Rumble Coffee’s brand identity and providing a space for potential client meetings and coffee tastings.Build strong relationships with customers and the local community, providing expert coffee knowledge and warm hospitality.Manage stock levels, ordering, and cost controls to maintain efficiency and profitability.Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate timely repairs to keep machines running perfectly.Stay ahead of industry trends, innovations, and customer preferences to keep offerings fresh and engaging.

- Knows their way around a La Marzocco machine, can talk about coffee-making and doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves when a problem requires.
Is a self-starter who’s keen to bring fresh ideas and is inspired to get things done
- Is a team player who can communicate effectively from outside the office, while also digging in alongside team-mates to get things done back at the roastery
