Patient Wolf is looking for a superstar venue manager as we reopen the bar. Based in South Melbourne the elegant bar fronts onto the distillery. We are looking for a passionate efficient manager to bring the Patient Wolf brand to life. We are offering a 6 month contract with a view to extend. Applications close 17th October.

Patient Wolf, a highly regarded Melbourne-based gin brand and distillery located in South Melbourne, is currently in need of a front of house manager. With a focus on innovation not just our products but also at our exquisite bar, we have cultivated a supportive work environment that prioritises the growth and development of our team members. Now having celebrated 8 successful years, Patient Wolf has solidified its position as one of the largest independently owned distilleries in Australia.

YOUR ROLE:
As the venue manager, your main responsibility will be to oversee all front-of-house operations, including the bar, retail, and events. This important role gives you the freedom to manage the entire operation of the bar and retail area while making the most of the beautiful distillery setting. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, handling finances, developing menus, managing guest relations, preparing and serving cocktails, providing training, organising events, and overseeing maintenance and cleaning. You will also collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure the success of the bar and maintain a great working atmosphere.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversee all bar operations
- Profitability of the bar
- Event and functions management
- Retail sales management
- Training for bar, floor on operations and bar and retail offerings including ongoing training programme
- Preparation, execution and consistency of all food and beverage
- Responsible service of alcohol and licensee responsibilities
- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the venue
- Ordering and stock management

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Current RSA
- Previous management experience is highly desirable
- Ability to engage your team
- Strong Cocktail and spirit knowledge
- Menu development experience

Experience
- Previous Bar Manager experience and/or people management
- Cocktail experience
- Hospitality, customer management experience
- Management experience
- Budget and profitability reporting
